What environmental problems does the wold face today

Manmade global warming is one of the biggest problems the world faces today.
Basiclly chemicals we have pumped out into the environment are causing the world to warm up which will make sea level rise, change temperatures, and generally therefore cause problems.
Other problems are oil spills and localised disasters like spillage of nasty waste products and so on, and of course ultimately something like a major leak of radiation or a radioactive disaster could be fatal for millions or more.
So essentially the misuse or accidents from the huge scientific advances humans have made in the last 100 years or so are leading to big actual or potential environmental hazards.
