What is 5 pence as a fraction of a pound?
Question asked by: cati25

It is 5% first and foremost, which is 5/100 as a fraction.
Now we notice this can be reduced and a fraction should usually be reduced to its lowest form, so 5/100 can both be divided exactly by 5 to give 1/20
