What is a craton
Question asked by: Sydwell

This was a new word for me, I thought you meant crater and had mistyped it!
However there is indeed something called a craton.
It refers to "part of a continent that is stable and forms the central mass of the continent" according to the dictionary.
So I learnt something new today to, thanks for asking the question about a craton and I hope that you found the above definition of a craton useful :)
