What is a darkroom?
Asked on: 14 Aug 2009
A darkroom is a place in which photographs are developed.
The reason they are called darkrooms is that they are dark so that no light falls on to the film and ruins it by exposing the rest of the shot, or at least no daylight that the chemicals will react in is present.
