What is a maze?

A maze is simply the name given to a system of paths and tunnels that it can be hard to find your way through once you enter.
Typically this is because there is only one route through that particular maze and this means that is hard to work your way through it.
Mazes are classic childrens puzzles and an enduring favourite.
