What is a mixture?
Question asked by: knowitall
A mixture is simply a substance that contains two or more different substances that are mixed together.
In chemical terms, a caveat is added to the above. The items are not mixed in fixed proportions and also there is not chemical bonding between the two.
There are various sorts of chemical mixtures, such as gas in liquid, gas in solid, liquid in liquid and so on, for instance oil and water, aerosols and so forth. For further information you might be interested in lookinup up more on colloids.
