What is a PA?

A PA is a personal assistant.
This role used to be known as a secretary though now it tends to be separate and people who are PAs when suggested they are a glorified secretary may take offence therefore it is best not to mention it, though they do tend to perform a range of duties that are broadly associated as those done by a secretary.
