What is a semibreve?
Question asked by: knowitall

A semibreve is equal to one whole note and is therefore quite long and not seen in a lot of pieces.
It is seen as simply a white note on the musical score indicating the pitch of the note and has no other markings attached to it and is therefore quite distinctive.
