What is a SLR camera?
Asked on: 14 Aug 2009
SLR stands for single lens reflex camera and is associated with professionals.
You can now get digital SLRs. With these cameras what you see through the viewfinder is what is seen actually through the lens rather than a separate image, they tend to be more expensive but more powerful than your standard point and shoot camera, and generally less compact too.
