Cobalt is an element with many uses.
One thing that is unusual about cobalt is that it is magnetic.
Therefore, unsurprisingly, cobalt is used in many cases where magnets are needed; as a magnet, in fact!
Also it may be found in things like ceramics and certain glasses.
Cobalt has many uses in industry, but these are the major uses.
