What is cryogenics?
Question asked by: knowitall
This is the science of very low temperatures (not just sub zero, but actually approaching the level of absolute zero, the minimum possible temperature of particles in the universe). Some elements display bizarre behaviour at this temperature - for instance, helium becomes a 'superfluid' and actually flows up the sides of its container.
