What is equity release?

Equity release is the process of releasing some of the equity in your house if that is not too much of a tautology.
Essentially with equity release you are able to get access to the money in your bricks and mortars, so if you need an amount of cash to do something then you can use equity release to get that money.
There are a couple of different types of equity release and it is worth following that link and reading the information for more information about this product and also even an equity release calculator too.
