What is happening to temperature while ice is melting to become water? explain.

Well, It's a little obvious that the tempreture needs to rise in order for a solid to change into a liquid...

The temp. of the ice remains const. during melting of ice into water. The temp. of surroundings of the ice falls down because ice absorbs latent heat of fusion from surroundings.
