What is number link?

Number link is a fun puzzle from Japan in which you have a grid and there are numbers in it that must pair up. So you might have a grid with two three and two fours and so on in it. You must work out the path from one number to the other, for each number in the grid, but there is only one way of doing it.
It is interesting because somehow it seems to be a puzzle where people use intuition to solve it a lot more than with other puzzles and you just feel that a certain route must be right without necessarily having worked out logically that it must be the right answer!
