What is Tachyon?
Question asked by: ravikom

A tachyon is the name given to a theoretical particle that can travel faster than light.
However it is not expected to actually exist, and indeed if it did then the whole of physics would need to be rewritten which basically uses the speed of light being absolute and invariable and the fastest speed as one of the cornerstones of modern physics.
