What is the attraction of an ISA?
Question asked by: knowitall

An ISA can be attractive for a couple of reasons.
The minor reason is that the interest rate can be quite good especially if you shop around.
The major reason is that it is a tax free savings vehicle and therefore any interest you earn will not be taxed. This is therefore of course a particular advantage if you are a higher rate tax payer.
