What is the best soil type for each plant type?

Question asked by: mrquestion

Asked on: 21 Jan 2010

Look on the packet for the seeds of the plant you are growing and it will usually tell you what type of soil and position it prefers.

If you are buying a plant that is already grown and not out of a packet then it may say with the plant instructions on looking after it.

If not then ask at the garden centre when buying it what soil conditions it prefers so that you know to plant it accordingly.
