What is the best time of day to exercise?
Question asked by: knowitall
This will vary from person to person, as we all have natural rhythms and times where we feel more energetic and times where we feel lethargic.
That said, research has suggested is that the best time to exercise is soon after waking up when we first get up in other words - apparently our metabolism will be super charged this way and run quicker for the rest of the day.

Ive actually heard that excersizing first thing in the morning is not so safe bc there are fluids in your spine which pool when sleeping and need to be drained out a bit before strenuous activity. i have also heard it is more beneficial to weight loss to wait a few hours.... personally, i find that i enjoy working out in the morning bc it sets my day off to a great start and i dont put it off... if i wait until after work, sometimes i dont even go... to each their own.
