What is the difference between a PA and a secretary?
Question asked by: mrquestion

I don't think there is any particular difference between a PA and a secretary.
Some people describe themselves as a PA or personal assistant because they think it sounds better but use it in the same way as a secretary.
However in some companies there is a difference and the PA does different duties to the standard secretary such as looking after the needs of one particular person rather than generalist office tasks such as arranging meeting rooms and co-ordinating diaries etc.
