What is the different between photosynthesis and respiration?
Question asked by: knowitall

Chemically photosynthesis and respiration are very different sets of reactions indeed.
At the high level they are opposite too, as one uses oxygen to produce carbon dioxide as a by-product, whilst the other (photosynthesis) does the opposite.
And that, my friend, is the answer that you are most definitely looking for.
