What is the highest amount of rainfall which falls in a storm event called?
Question asked by: knowitall

Good question. It can be hard to remember the correct name for all these events.
However I don't know if there is a name for the largest rainfall in a storm, I think it's just called the largest rainfall.
Certainly a search on google didn't seem to come up with anything however if you know any different then let us know!
