What is the journey memory method?
Question asked by: mrquestion

The journey memory method is one whereby you associate something to a particular journey.
For instance the route to work can be broken down to certain steps: leave the house, get to train station, get on train etc
Then you associate something you want to learn to each step on the journey.
Let's say item one on the list is a television, then you might associate leaving the house with opening the front door and seeing a giant television blocking your path... you then go through the rest of the journey making the associations and then to remember the list in theory just think of the journey and the list items will automatically appear in your minds eye for recall and use as you need them.
