What is the most famous lateral thinking puzzle?

The most famous lateral thinking puzzle is probably the Edward De Bono one about the light switches whereby you have three light switches and need to work out which switch controls each of three bulbs in a room, but you cannot see into the room and are only allowed to make one visit into the room. So how do you work out which light is controlled by each bulb?
