What is the name of the method a telescope uses to see stars?
Question asked by: mrquestion

A telescope can use various different methods, but they are all aimed at collecting light onto their lens.
This is the process of photon collection, and those photons may have travelled for billions of years!
These photons are then collected on the light collector and reflected or focused and magnified in the lens which gives you the larger image of the object.
