What is the purpose of a CV?
Question asked by: mrquestion
Asked on: 08 Jan 2010
The purpose of a CV is to let a company know in a very summarised fashion about who you are and what you have achieved.
In most cases it is the first point of contact that a new employer (or potential employer) will have with you and they will only know about you what you write on the CV. It is the gateway to an interview.
