What talents do you need to be good at photography?

You need good understanding of the technical aspects to be able to work out what will look good and what will not look good through the lens - the same scene with the eye can look quite different through the lens.
You will also need the ability to know when the light is good or bad, what it will look like on camera, when you need to use filters and so on to assist matters and also be able to compose a shot so that the composition looks attractive.
