What to do if your partner doesn't believe in marriage?
Question asked by: knowitall

If your partner does not believe in marriage, then you should ensure that you stay calm.
Don't get upset.
Try and sit down and talk to them and find out why it is that they don't like marriage.
The reason could be something simple that you could talk them around from or it could be something more deep seated and fundamental.
Once you know the reason you will need to find out whether it is something that you can turn them around from or whether it is something you will have to respect and live around.

This all depends on whether YOU believe in marriage doesn\'t it? If it doesn\'t bother you either way, then it isn\'t an issue. On the other hand if you want to get married then you have the wrong guy here. I wouldn\'t bother trying to change his mind on the matter anyway, he must have said it for a reason, so maybe it\'s just a polite way of saying he doesn\'t want a serious relationshipBy: daisylea
