What to do to become an IT officer?

The best thing to do would first be to grow up with an understanding of IT and to do relevant IT related courses.
Then see your local careers advisor for specific advice on your chosen career - are there qualifications that you need to get? Is there particular work experience that will be useful in your career as an IT officer?
Get advice from those who have already done it to be in with the best chance of getting in to this line of work in the future.
