What type of book is most popular?

Well, the fiction novel is probably still the most popular overall as this is all encompassing.

Within that of course there are perennial favourites such as mystery and crime type topics which seem to do quite well.

There has also been a real rise it seems in the autobiography and reality type of book in recent years which is a surprise since these things tend to be either ghost written or pretty boring, or else on the other side a little too salacious!
