What type of job is the most respected?

There is no such thing as a job that is most respected.

However due to their status and kudos then some jobs are no doubt admired, for instance if you say that you are the Prime Minister of the UK or the President of the USA then those jobs carry certain gravitas, even if you don't happen to like the incumbent in that position.

However all jobs that are done have value and some would argue that jobs like being a dustman or postman or cleaner etc are much more important than being a footballer or a pop star - and indeed if you want mail and a clean street then they most certainly are!
