What's the difference between nonograms, hanjie and griddler puzzles?
Question asked by: knowitall
There is no difference!
The first time this puzzle appeared in the UK it was probably known more as nonograms. Some magazines have called it Griddler - for instance the Daily Telegraph has often used this name.
Now it is standardly known as Hanjie, perhaps the first to use this name in the UK was puzzler media.
For rules and instructions on how to play hanjie please read the article in this games and puzzles section entitled how to play hanjie / the rules of hanjie.
