When should I trim a magnolia tree so as not to stop it flowering next spring? Autumn or after flowering next year?
Question asked by: knowitall

Autumn at the end of the season is the best time to cut it back.
This way it will have plenty of time for fresh growth to be encouraged next year and therefore to flower well again next year.
