Where did space come from, if there is a god, who created god?

That is a pretty big question. The answer is different if you believe in god or not.
If you do then you take it on faith that god just always did exist and asking questions about how he came to be does not make sense.
Or you do not believe in god in which case you look for a scientific explanation. Most of those are pretty weird and say that something can actually come from nothing under the laws of physics and that the total energy of the universe overall might actually be zero. It's weird stuff.

Your question is related to time. If god created the universe then he also created time, this is because time is a variable of the universe. If time is created by god, then god does not have to have a beginning, because having a beginning is related to time. God is not a being that needs anything, but in fact, he created everything.
