Where is north america's biggest megalopolis located?

Apparently Los Angeles and the surrounding area is the biggest so-called megalopolis in North America at least from what I can find out from a few internet searches.
I hadn't actually come across the term until seeing your question!
If anyone knows any differently, then please post it here...
It seems that the biggest megalopolis in the world for anyone who is interested in Tokyo and the surrounding area in Japan.
