The worlds largest lake is the caspian sea which is not actually a sea, it measures 143,200 sq miles- lake superior is the worlds lagest FRESH WATER lake and NOT THE largest.

Lake (Noun) - A large area of water surrounded by land.
The largest lake in the World is the Caspian Sea, which is approx. 130,000+ sq.miles, and not Lake Superior.
