Which is the largest planet in the solar system?
Question asked by: mrquestion

The largest planet in the solar system by some distance is the gas giant that is called Jupiter.
Indeed it is sometimes called the cosmic vacuum cleaner because it has relatively high gravity and therefore lots of objects around it get sucked in, in fact it has probably protected the earth from quite a few impacts over the last few billion years by taking a lot of hits itself.
