Which of the following most directly affects the potential energy of an object A.its temperature B.its composition C.its volume D.its acceleration E.its speed

I suppose it must be perhaps its acceleration though this question has confused me so someone else might know the answer and it is different.

I thought potential energy the most important thing was how high up it was, e.g. something at the top of a tall building has a lot more potential energy than something near the bottom, but since height isn't one of the options I'm a bit confused?!
