Which tudor monarch changed religion the most and why?
Question asked by: artiste
The answer is Henry VIII.
This is because he split the either Church into two different parts and founded a whole new Church. The reason he founded this new Church was because he wanted to get divorced, and the Catholic Pope and the Archbishop of Canterbury would not allow it.
Therefore he decided to denounce the Catholic Church and it's teachings so that he could get what he wanted - a divorce, and go on to marry and behead some more women.
