Which weathering processes?
Question asked by: Chengyu188

There are three main types of weathering. These are as follows.
The first of them is called mechanical weathering and here temperatures and possibly water break down the rock.
The second of them is called chemical weathering, and this causes reactions that occur with the rock and it with water and breaks it down as a result.
Biological weathering is the third and final type, where animals, plants etc grow in plants or apply pressure there over time again causing weathering.
