Who invented sign language?
Question asked by: knowitall
This question, as to who invented sign language, does have an answer, but it is perhaps not the answer you expected.
This is because the answer is that there is no one inventor.
Rather, it seems to have evolved naturally over time and across the world, with no one person who invented it and spread it, but rather generic growth and adoption and adaption.
