Who said that love hurts?
Question asked by: mrquestion

I think it is just a general saying or maxim that love hurts.
I don't think it is known who said it first it is just one of those general human observations.
Of course it doesn't have to hurt, but I suppose they mean that when things go wrong which they often do as most times we love someone or something there are ups and downs and it is because of the love that it hurts when things aren't quite right!
