Who was the first living being?
Question asked by: kalsoom

This is not something that we will ever know, but if we did it would in any case be quite arbitrary as when does one species definitely become another? The process will inevitably be blurred.
What does seem certain through evolution is that we gradually split off from other species and other types of human species to create modern homo sapiens at a stage that is a mere fraction of a second as it were in the history of the planets several billion years of existence to date.
