Who was the last person to discover a planet?
Question asked by: knowitall
The last person to discover a planet is now up for contention as it seems that many objects beyond Pluto are now planets or may receive planetary status.
However in the traditional sense the last planet discovered was Pluto.
The honours go here to Clyde Tombaugh, who discovered it in 1930.
