A change in sleeping habits and patterns is often a sign that something is troubling you, and therefore may be a symptom of stress.
You should assess if you have any anxieties or problems at the moment - for instance perhaps you have an important set of exams coming up or a job interview?
Anything that could be stressful or seen as a strain can affect and impact your sleeping habits.
If you are worried then the best advice is always to see your doctor and get an expert opinion with regard whether there may be some other reason for the change in your sleeping patterns.
