Why are taxes so high for UK small businesses?
Question asked by: mrquestion

This is because they are seen as a sitting duck to the UK government as they are not as vocal or as powerful as big business.
Therefore the Labour government that has done nothing but raise taxes for years and years licks its lips when it sees small businesses and takes from them as much tax as it can without too high a percentage of them going bust.
