Why are there so many Brazilian models?

I was not aware that there are particularly that many Brazilian models?
But if it is the case that there are many famous Brazilian models then presumably it is because their look is in right now and therefore they are more sought after as models than those from other countries.
But there are trends and patterns all the time so what is en vogue one day is not the next, fashion is the most fickle of all worlds and that includes modelling!
