Why aren't Rory Bremner impressions funny any more?
Question asked by: mrquestion

Most people need to work really hard to get into the public eye and get a talent like that on TV.
There is no doubt that some of his impressions were spot on and in the earlier years on TV impressions like Des Lynam and John Major were spot on, no one else could do John Major well.
However over time it seems his style changes to more copying mannerisms and parodying then actually concentrating on impersonating the voice; many believe this has led to a slip in the actual accuracy and level of skill of the impressions.
