Why do companies outsource so much overseas?

This is a very modern phenomenon and is because of increased globalisation and technology that it is possible.
As to why they do it the answer is simple - money.
It is much cheaper to get these services provided that are outsourced overseas where the cost of living is less and probably the standard of living and people get paid a lot less therefore.
