Why do the football scores in England give the Scottish league results?

Presumably the answer is that these shows are also broadcast in Scotland where the results will be of interest to someone.
Though perhaps they should only be shown every now and then and less often than the English scores as people in England are less likely to be concerned with other leagues.

Because the matches are on the pools coupon (simples) which is why english results are shown in scotland
