Why does my foundation flake?

Foundation will usually flake for one of two reasons.
The first reason for flaky foundation is that you put it on too quickly and therefore don't rub it in, leaving uneven and exposed spots.
The other reason is simply that you put too much of the foundation on.
Therefore to stop this is easy: only use the amount of foundation that you really need on your face and then take the time to blend it in well - this will ensure that flaky foundation is a thing of the past!
